> 3 dayIm using this to check my solar panel installers angle of inclination of my panels final install. They had suggested 18 degrees which is far too shallow an angle for my latitude. (They wanted to get away with cheapie one size fits all install but having done a great deal of research on the project (and having been a licensed mechanical engineer before retirement) I insisted on a 25 degree angle of inclination. This way, once the job is finished I can check them and keep everybody honest and get the most out of my 24K investment! Heck, it only cost $8 and if it doesnt past muster, I can just show them the angle in black and white and tell them to adjust according to our final contract.

> 3 dayIts ok but there are better. for one it is not magnetic so it limits options of where you can mount it. Also I use it to measure the pitch of roofs and it doesnt have a rough surface so it slides off of roofs. If you can always keep a hand on it then buy it buy mainly my main complaint is just that the red measuring indicator gets stuck and so i have to jiggle it to get it to calculate the proper pitch.
