I am using this for tumbling media, for handgun brass. Works great, at a decent price.

Not sure how my birds cage would smell without this, for Ive always used it. But my bird cages never smell at all with this. I put some paper down, then lay a layer of this down on top. I can go like 2 months without having to clean the cage. Even when I clean it, it still seems fine, I find I just clean it for my own sanity and the birds comfort. If you want to delay your cage cleaning/emptying frequency and lower the smell I think this is a good product for you.

I use this for my parakeet cage bottom tray. So far so good, no issues.

The granules are way to fine. Not the same quality as the corn cob. My parrot throws it everyday. He doesn’t like it in his cage.

I use to use newspaper to line the bottom of bird cages, and it seemed I would be cleaning it every other day. When I switched to corn cob or this walnut, I clean it less often. I wont be going back to newspapers.

I have no idea why this is so hard to find these days! Ive been using walnut bird litter for over a decade, and love it. There is no dust, its odor free, easy to use/clean, and last well (I filter scoop weekly, and change out once a month). This is now the only brand I can find, and the 25lb is exactly the size I need to keep my 2 parrots happy in their spaces.

Simple and safe to use

This is a great product for keeping the bird cage clean! Have a large bird cage with 2 lovebird and keeping the cage clean is so easy and mess free with this walnut litter. It spreads easily when poured in and pours out easily into a trash bag when cleaning the cage. This litter also does a great job in keeping the cage smelling clean all the time and the walnut granules are heavy so it doesnt fly out of the cage when the birds are flapping around.
