This shelf is beautiful and very high quality. Our issue with installation came when we got to the point of sliding the remaining part of the bracket from the bottom. We installed this above a tiled wall and didn’t leave enough room to clear the tile wall when attaching the second part of the bracket. Luckily we were able to unscrew the bottom screw in the bracket, angle the bracket to the side and slide the bracket up onto the part that attaches to the wall. There was just enough room to insert the screw into the bottom of the brackets and tighten it to hold the glass shelf in place. It was definitely our mistake for not thinking it through first. Just wanted to give others a heads up if you are using this above a tiled wall in a bathroom.

Product works as intended, but does not include any instructions. As such, I am leaving instructions here. Instructions to place it: 1. Unscrew the screw in the bottom of both of the metal pieces to open the gap in between the rubber parts that holds the glass in place. 2. Put the glass into the opening and then tighten. 3. Move the metal piece around until you are happy with the placement. 4. Measure the distance from the middle of one metal piece, horizontally to the middle of the other metal piece. Should be around 8-10. 5. Find the place where you want to mount it on your wall. mark the top center of each metal piece on the wall. Disassemble and mount: 1. Remove the screw from the bottom of the stainless steel piece entirely. It will separate into two piece. 2. Take the piece that has the holes in it and place it on the wall with the metal piece on the top, just like you positioned it while getting your location on the wall. 3. Mark the location for the 2 screws on each side. 4. Mount the pieces to the wall. Watch out for studs. If there is a stud, do not use the plastic drywall anchor. If no stud, use the plastic drywall anchor. 5. With the 2 piece attached to the wall, get one of the other metal pieces (part that slides on), and slide it up from the bottom all the way. 6. Insert the screw your removed and screw it in a bit. 7. Let the metal piece fall and rest on the screw and then continue screwing until there is a 1/2 gap between the rubber pieces on both sides. 8. Insert your glass piece and tighten the screws on the bottom until snug. You are welcome.

Look good but the brackets are chromed plastic. I am sure they will be crappy and bubbled looking shortly. In which case I guess I can spray paint them.

Really hard to install! I spent over two hours installing it only to find out from a friend I installed it upside down. Directions are not clear. A drill is 100% needed. After all that time I spent installing it, it’s already falling out of the wall 2 months later… could be due to me accidentally installing it upside down. Will try again to install it the correct way and see if results are better. Definitely needs better directions
