> 24 hour60/40 solder works most of the time, but it can have two states at once, a solid one and a liquid one, at around the melting temperature (some can be solid while some of it can be liquid). 63/37 solder only has one state when melted and it wont have part of the mixture turn solid before youre done. It makes it easier to get a good solder joint and is much more forgiving. Its not much more expensive than 60/40 either. Just make sure you buy the right diameter for your needs.
