Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

Hand this little thing to upgrade my old HP desktop, the read and write speed fast, very worth to have per its price.

I originally bought this for myself as a new boot drive in my desktop, and it worked great, no issues whatsoever, faster than any other drive Ive had (this is my first SSD). Liked it so much that when I had to replace the hard drive in my grandfathers laptop, this was my immediate go-to replacement drive. Love it.

Works well, boots fast and is a great price.

Works well, but in our modern age of gaming bigger is always better. Still a great price for a speedier SSD.

I originally bought this for my PS4 back in 2020 and it did greatly improved the performance. Since I was lucky enough to get PS5 last year, I put this SSD on my decade old laptop with chrome flex. Voilà! now I have blazing fast infotainment system! Great buy!

I work in IT and usually purchase SanDisk SSDs for my company. I recently decided to purchase this Kingston SSD, on to use on my personal laptop. We usually use a cloning device when we replace the drives. This Kingston would not clone on the external cloning device. It is usually as simple as putting the 2 hard drives in the cloning device and pressing a button. Because of the partitions and software that appeared to be on the drive it refused to clone to it even after I put it in the laptop and partitioned it. I eventually had to use the cloning device as a USB connection to the laptop and download some free software for cloning since Kingston does not included cloning software. If you plan to use a cloning device look at other SSDs as this one will fail. So far the speed seems good however I have only had it installed for about 24 hours. Hopefully it doesnt fail like others have reported.
