Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

Bought this to use on an old HP desktop machine to install my OS.

First I Put this in an old 2005 PC (long story... Had to downgrade for a while) and with 3 gig of Ram and this the old duel core chip ran Ubuntu Mate linux ALMOST as fast as my regular 4 core machinr with a SPINNING hard drive.... Built a new PC for cheep with fx 6300 and 8 gig Ram and just plugged this SSD in and turned.it on and it was the faster computer I have ever owned.

Its a compact SSD with no uses. The bad thing is not came with CD to do the flash but for the price is ¡Excelent!.

Super fast now love the speed wish I would of got it a long time ago

I was expecting a $16 ssd to burst into flames as soon as I powered on my computer. I was happily wrong. Ive experienced no issues at all with this ssd

Sadly it didn’t work! But the technical assistance was excellent to be honest!

This Kinston Solid State drive was delivered fast and was easily installed thanks to a U-tube video. The 2.5 drive was the direct replacement of a failed 1 TB hard drive and ran well on first startup. I had to reload the original windows operating system but thanks to Dell support, that was realatively easy to download and install. All in All a much easier repair than I expected.
