> 3 dayI put this memory in my new MSI Katana. Figured paying for quality should lead long term value. Initially the laptop worked great with this memory. Played a few games with it, like No Mans Sky, Rocksmith, and some even older games I have. Performance was great initially. After a few weeks, I started getting random screen freezes and shutdowns about once over several days. Slow worked up to almost daily issues. I put in the original memory and no more issues. Return the memory for replacement. Got the same great performance with the new set. But after a few weeks, again started to get issues, but now getting BSOD and random screen freezes. Did the whole routine of trying to fix and clean up widows, reload of drivers (especially the NIVIDA drivers). Ended up running Memtest86 and memory failed on first pass.

> 3 dayThere was conflicting information online as to whether our Omen 17 (10750h, geforce 2070) could accomodate 64gb (32x2) of ram, with the HP site specifying 32gb as the max, but with various memory upgrade sites claiming 64gb. We took a chance since Amazon has a great return policy. We had been using the 32gb (16x2) kit previously. Two of these sticks work perfectly in the laptop, and the extra ram is very useful as we use it as a RAMDISK for audio and video editing. The dual rank, dual channel configuration also seems to give a slight boost in performance as well. Very satisified.

> 3 dayEven tho we all know Adobe will bend any computer to its knees, this is a must upgrade from any slower or cheap memory that you have for your laptop or upgrade in memory size. It was a noticeable change on my laptop from a Samsung 32gb, Multicam editing, we all know how that goes, and After effects workflow was a major difference. But any serious rendering you are going to need 128gb. But these are a solid pair of memories, and they handle the job well.
