For some reason the strap has velcro on it that makes the strap a failure. There is no reason to ever remove the magnet, so the velcro is not only useless, but it make the strap fail. The rare earth magnet is very strong, but the velcro on the strap was dead on arrival and I had to hand stitch it closed. Im kinda surprised that Klein outsourced this item and even considered a removable magnet, which is pointless. The whole point of the strap is wasted with the failed velcro on the strap.

Clips right on to my Klein Multimeter and stays on unless the magnet catches something in my trunk. Perfect for hanging on metal boxes/panel for easier metering
