Needed one of these years ago. Saves a lot of time

Does exactly as described and is very useful when changing all of the outlets and switches in my new home.

This is my second Non-Contact Voltage Tester and there is no comparison between the two. The first worked well but was a real challenge to change batteries. This one on the other hand is easy to change batteries helping to insure you remove the batteries when it is not being used so they dont leak. I think it is also easier to operate but not sure because I tossed the other for no longer working after the batteries leaked.

Im an average DIYer and use some of my tools at my restaurants and these both work great and seem pretty durable so far. If I could give them 6 stars for including the batteries I would!

Thus little tool is a time and life saver, I cant imagine working on homes without it.

Any home owner needs to own a set of these. These voltage testers could save your life. If you follow the directions and use these instruments carefully you will be able to identify live hot wires. I found both instruments to be highly accurate.
