> 24 hourThe bolt for these things is mildly handy, not necessary but for the extra dollar or whatever consider it a cheap insurance policy so you won’t be flipping out trying to dislodge it when you replace it. K&N makes great filters too, watch some video reviews where they cut open filters if you wanna see how they do it

> 24 hourThe main reason I like these is the hex head for a socket. My filters location makes it difficult/impossible to use a strap wrench and the plastic adapters that fit over a standard filters head usually slip due to these cheaper filters ultra thin housings. mileage is not a consideration for me since I always replace the filter when changing oil. The price has jumped 50% lately, but I assume it has for all brands of filters. The K&N filters are rugged and have better filtration over the cheaper units (Fram, etc) based on many well thought out test/reviews.

> 24 hourI love these most of the time. The cap makes it easy to get on and off because it allows for use with a ratchet. Too often, however, it is so rounded already that I round it over completely (yes I am using a 6 point socket) while removing it.

> 24 hourPhotos show Premium Gold filters - not what is delivered. Main difference is filtration level. Gold is 10 micron filter. Premium filter is 60-80’s micron filter.

> 24 hourI only change my oil about once a year in my 96 Tacoma and I use 20k mile full synthetic with this K&N Filter. Id never go over 8500 miles no matter what it says so filter and oil now once a year I dont drive more than that. I figure this is good for at least that and more but its a good price and Im not changing the oil and filter 3 or 4 times a year like in the old days. Ive been using K&N for a few years and it never let me down. The wrench off is great just 2 sockets a ratchet and an extension an oil change is done. *One thing I have to say is this filter said does not fit my vehicle in the amazon garage but I double-checked at K&N and this is the right filter.

> 24 hourRemoving a stock type oil filter on an RX300 is super frustrating. The oil filter is located behind the front exhaust manifold and good luck getting an oil filter wrench on that unless you got tiny hands. The nut on the end of this K & N filter is a HUGE TIME SAVER and will also keep you from cutting up your hands. It is pricey but time is money. As far as the quality or performance of the filter I really dont know, but I can say I have used these filters for a long time and the car is 22 years old and still runs like new...

> 24 hourIf you love your vehicle why not give it the best. The k&n filter is far superior any other filter. Amazon had a great price.
