> 24 hourI first bought this on a recommendation from a member on a toyota forum to make the oil changes on my old 4runner easyer. Since them I have installed them on everything. The oil filter on my 4runner rock crawler and xterra are easy enough to get to but my mothers Vw beetle and my wifes honda CRV have the filter in a hard to reach places but with this all I need is a 1 inch socket, ratchet and extention. I also use he extention and socket without the ratchet to put the filter on by hand. No more keeping a huge pile of filter wrenches around anymore just some sockets.

> 24 hourI chose the K&N as it is designed for high flow. That is more important to me than the best filtering. Starving your engine for oil, even super clean filtered oil is worse than plenty of slightly less clean oil in my opinion. That said the K&N has very good filtering and high flow. It costs a bit more than your average filter for sure but if you keep your vehicles it is well worth it. Go watch a few youtube vids on oil filters and see what is inside each and then compare price. Buying on Amazon makes them cheap enough to buy regularly as well.

> 24 hourThese filters are well made and are TOUGH. If you like to open your spent filters to examine what is inside, make sure you have some aviation snips or a dedicated opener. I was surprised to see how much fine particles (recent iron block honing and rebuild) were in the oil and on the drain plug magnet, but not in the filter.

> 24 hourThe box the filter came in looks like it was kicked around for a couple weeks. The filter inside has some paint scuffs and the paint is chipped off the top. The filter itself seems ok. The gasket is in tact and the inside of the filter looks clean. The threads dont look used so Im going to use it but probably look for a different seller next time. Normally there is a filter replacement tag in the box too that was not in this box. 3 stars for this particular filter and delivery. Normally, when I order this filter it arrives in better condition.

> 24 hourThese filters may be a bit expensive, but I like them. I think the quality is excellent. The added section on the top that lets you use a wrench is very important on my vehicle.

> 24 hourI use K&N Oil Filters in combination with High Grade Synthetic Oil. K&N helps protect my car. I use K&N exclusively. 4-14-2020 - I find an interesting twist now here at Amazon... I have in Your Garage my 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid, 1.3L. Ive been using this specific K&N Oil Filter for YEARS, but NOW Amazon states - Does NOT fit your car. For ANY Customer looking into the K&N HP-1010 Oil Filter, IT SPECIFICALLY DOES FIT this car. In fact, on the Amazon Item Page, the FULL Description of Vehicles ALSO lists the 2009 Honda Civic 1.3L Engine as a fit for this Filter. Have NO FEAR in buying this Item for your 2009 Civic Hybrid cars.
