> 24 hourI almost used a multi tool to remove the hundreds of nail sticking through the floor protruding through the basement ceiling in preparation for painting the ceiling. This tool is amazing. Cuts through the nails like butter. Creates a super clean look. My new favorite tool.

> 24 hourI swallowed hard when I bought this tool as it is not cheap BUT Id been looking for such a tool for years and as it turned out, it was exactly what Id hoped. I cut hundreds of protruding nails in my shack so i could wash the ceiling down and paint it easily. Im sure the tool will serve me for years.

> 24 hourThe cutters worked great for the first 400 or 500 nails that held shingle siding on. They literally cut right thru nails, then I noticed that there was a chip on the end. I am ordering another set because it may have been user error on my part. I will be more careful on the next pair. If I have failure on this pair I will re-review this product with an update. Right now my project is on hold.

> 24 hourI bought this specifically to cut the nail off that came through my subfloor. We got these in a week before our plumbers were scheduled to install our radiant heat... Jokes on us, these didnt even cut the first nail and chipped/deformed. We ended up purchasing an extra grinder and taking them off that way. This was a waste of our time.

> 24 hourThis product is a bit expensive, but that’s the only negative comment I could make. I suppose to get great quality nowadays we must prepare to pay. The design of this nipper is innovative and impressive. This pair of nippers is equally impressive when put to the test.Cutting is clean and effortless, and the cutting edges are precise and perfectly aligned. This is the best pair of nippers that I own.

> 24 hourWhoever hung the light fixture in my house was a monster. They used toggle bolts with heads larger than the keyholes. One was put in at a very steep angle. Both were mostly stripped. I was unable to back the fasteners out more than about an inch with a slotted screwdriver. I would happily have ripped the bolts out and just repaired the drywall, but I couldnt get a grip on them or the fixture to do that. I am short and not very strong or comfortable working above my head, especially with a powered saw. Normal bolt cutters are at the wrong angle. So after reading some reviews of these to make sure that they could handle a couple of 1/4 or smaller threaded fasteners, I ordered them. Id rather spend $60 on these than risk getting a head wound or hurting my hands or my eyes. Took less than 5 minutes to get the fixture down, most of which was me moving from one step stool to the other while a friend held the center. Knipex tools are expensive, but they are well made, well balanced, and a pleasure to use. UPDATE Oct 2020: I didnt have any flush cutters or any other cutters, and I was desperate. Because these cutters are not extremely sharp, they are quite handy for gripping and gently rolling 3-4 inch brads out of drywall so you dont get all scratched up. Handy to know if you have to remove trim to get to the edges of your sewage soaked carpet to pull it out it the middle of the night. As you do.

> 24 hourGreat, love these! offset hinge lets you cut longer nails or wire since the hinge doesnt get in the way. Easy cut of hardened nails and roofing nails - much easier and better than 17 Crescent brand, and better than a German brand. These are the easiest to use of all three brands, lowest required hand strength to cut the same nail.
