Sadly I didnt realize it was for the slim units, and so my WD My Passport Wireless doesnt fit, though it ALMOST does. Be sure to measure your device before ordering. My mistake.

I bought this case along with a 4TB Seagate Backup Plus external hard drive. AFTER I ordered the case, I came across a number of negative reviews suggesting the case would not fit this particular hard drive without removing the inner padding--and this concerned me as I had ordered the case as Amazon had suggested it while I was ordering the drive. Upon receiving both items, however, I was very pleased with how they worked together. The drive is certainly snug within the case and it fits in a way that doesnt allow inner padding insert to fully extend, but Im able to fit the drive and its cable comfortably inside, and the tightness of the fit seems to make everything even more secure. Honestly, I dont use the case that much because I rarely travel with the case. During the handful of times Ive used the case, Ive dropped the drive once--and everything was A-OK. Id imagine this case would protect the case against most non-extreme drops--the rubbery outside provides considerable protection. Overall, I think this case is a great value.

Ive used this thing a lot over the years, never had any issues. Ive actually put a decent amount of weight on it without any damage to the case or the drive inside. Really useful for traveling and ensuring some good protection for your drive or just keeping it in storage.

Love this case. Works great with my segate external drive. Must have to protect your hard drive. Fits like a glove, plentybof room for cord
