This is a solid unit, well built and high quality. I use this all the time to have my iPad in my work area as a second source of info on a second screen. Very helpful.

I am very pleased with the sturdiness of this stand, but anything over a 10 tablet might be slightly unsteady. With that said, I use it as a portable stand, so I move it multiple times a day. If you were to leave it set in one place, a large tablet might be steady as well. With that said, this is THE BEST stand I have purchased in ages. Most stands will not hold a tablet because they are not heavy enough or the base is too small.

The size is perfect for a tablet.
