I like the sturdiness and the ability to adjust the angle. I bought this one for the kitchen so I can use it when cooking or for leisure when using my tablet or phone. This is the second one Ive purchased.

Better than expected... this things so useful. It clears up room on my table. Looks great as well. Study .. tilts and stays in place .

Ive had a couple different stands for phones or tablets that either were so light they easily broke or fell over. This enables me to view my tablet and even use the touchscreen without it falling over. I like that you can tilt it. Also works great for video phone calls. My wife was on a call and I could see she was struggling to hold the phone at the right angle. I put it on the stand and she loved it, because it enabled her to also write some notes at the same time. If you put it on a book or box, you can raise it high enough, and adjust the angle, to video chat without looking down.

Perfect stand! This is exactly what I wanted for my new iPad 9.7! It even has little rubber pads on the bottom and back so if you dont have a case on it wont scratch your iPad.
