Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 | Moves your Applications, Files and Settings from an Old PC to a New PC | Includes Optional Ethernet Cable | 1 Use

I spent a couple hours trying to get this SW to work. I had to work through unnecessary errors and had to contact support more than once... finally, the SW ran its move yet it didnt move a single file! It also failed to recognize the Windows apps I needed to move... moving applications was the big selling point for me... yet it couldnt even detect the apps I had installed on the old computer. Very disappointing, had to return the product.

Bought and returned. Does absolutely nothing for transferring programs in any way that is useable. Can transfer files, but this can be done without any Laplink software - just use the normal Windows functionality.

Tech support was excellent. Product worked well and as advertised. Only minor complaint I had was when using the Ethernet transfer cable cable, the program kept wanting to go back online which nauseated changing the cables back to my Ethernet(hardwired) internet connection.

Purchased product to move everything from old computer to new computer. Somehow, the logic of figuring the steps to use this sort of product eludes me. That said, the whole process - loading the software onto my old computer, and onto my new computer and then starting the process to move everything - worked. I started the process at bedtime. When I got up, all was moved to the new computer. Ive been using this new computer for a month or so and have not found anything to be missing.

Worked well and accomplished most of what was required to move the applications and content from my old Windows 10 Professional notebook to my new Windows 10 Home notebook.

Buying a new laptop and transferring the data across is always a difficult job. I found PC Mover while searching online for methods setting up my new laptop and bought it as it seemed to be the solution I was looking for. It worked perfectly. Easy to install and did the job to absolute perfection. It does take a while to transfer and so be very patient. The job for me took around 10 hours however when the job was done by the software it was done, and done to perfection at that, even transferring pre-purchased software without needing to re-input the activation codes. Worth every bit of the money it cost me to buy. I can do none other than recommend this product to anybody who needs a simple straightforward method of setting up a new PC.

Crashed my entire new laptop that was setup took 5hrs to get it back on and had to reset windows. Did not copy over any apps at all like it said it would. Support was ok, reset my licence so can try it again just haven’t had time.

After the transfer from old PC to new PC I could not boot the new PC. I chatted with LapLink but they could not help. I chatted with Dell and they said they had the same problem from another user recently. I ended up having to re-install Windows 10 and transferring the files via a flash drive. Using LapLink was a complete waste of time.

I dont know which is worse, disappointment or the realization that one isnt as smart as one thinks. I could never get this software to work and could never figure out why. I finally just gave up. Ill eat the price rather than deal with some engineer. A big disappointment as I have been installing and using various software programs with many fewer problems since the early 1980s

I was worried that this may be to difficult. Boy! Was I wrong! I just followed the instructions and within an hour everything was moved from old to new computer. I thought I might have to re-enter license keys, etc but no. It all transferred perfectly. Highly recommend this. Couldn’t be happier.
