Very good product. This catches everything, from quinoa, blueberry seeds and any schumtz in your pan!! I have a 50 y/o septic and want it to last as long as possible before I replace it, and I dont have a food compactor. Water still flows through with about 3/4s full but its an easy rinse and install, about 2 seconds!!

They just don’t seal as nicely as the older rubber ones used too.

I wanted something like this for so long. I did not know they were on Amazon, but of course they were. They fit perfectly and stay in place. I like them better than the catch that came with the sink for these are bigger.

Very sturdy. Somewhat harder to remove small pieces of food (by tapping on the back, over the trash pail) than with the less sturdy types, but it doesnt deform and also stays in place in the drain without moving around too much.
