Covers were easy to install. The springs that come with it are hooked at the end so that was the only difficult part but that means that they wont come out easily. Rugs seem sturdy and the grommets seem sturdy as well. Very happy with this product.

My rv has three steps the two at the bottom were easy to install. The top one had a metal plate a cross the back of the step. Could not rap around the step. Was able to use the added springs to make it work.

We recently rescued a 5 year old Yellow Lab and he needs extra traction to get our travel trailer. We purchased an initial 3 pack to put on the steps. They worked so well that we purchased an additional 3 pack to use on the running boards of my husbands truck (for the dog) and we are using the other 2 for the garage steps. They work great! I love that we can take them off (the running board when we do not have the dog with us and we can also removed to clean them from both sets of stairs! My husband was skeptical but when he installed them and saw how they worked, he told me to order another set! Worth the price for safety on the travel trailer and the other uses are great too!

Prompt arrival, very tightly packed. Then left to flatten out for a few days. The covers had a second layer of padding to enhance the wearability of the covers. An extra set of springs was included in case any needed replacing but each step cover was already set up with 4 springs for a tight closure

I purchased 2 sets of these step covers for my RV travel trailer - an 18 set for the rear entry steps and a 23 set for the front entry steps. In my particular case, the cons outweighed the pros for both sets and I was unable to use these step covers as intended. Had to return both sets for a refund and will seek a different remedy for carpeted step covers. Pros (for both 18 and 23 step covers): These step covers appeared to be well made, sturdy, and my impression was that they would wear very well for their intended use. Cons - 23 step covers: The front entry steps on my RV trailer are the style that folds when stowed for trailering. After installing the first step cover on the top step, I realized that I could not fully stow the steps as intended with the step cover installed. The existing gap between the top step and middle step while folding has minimal clearance and with the step cover installed on the top step, I was unable to get the middle step to pass beneath the top step (picture attached). The situation was worse when I installed the step cover on the middle step. So, unfortunately, the step covers are not compatible with this style of RV step because when they are installed, the steps cannot be properly stowed. Cons - 18 step covers: The rear entry steps on my RV trailer are the style that folds into the door opening when not in use/traveling. The 18 step covers fit the first and second steps perfectly. Unfortunately, the top step has a tread that measures almost 12 deep, which is too deep for the provided step cover to fit as intended (picture attached). If your RV steps are of a similar style, the step cover provided will not fit properly.

We have a set of those solid steps that fold up into the door of our RV and the metal is rather slick especially in winter. These step covers are so nice!! They fit tight around the steps, are double layered where you step so its almost like a cushion and they grip to the steps super well! Solid steps have a really wide top step and one row of grommets show at the very back of that top step which I was worried about but after having them on its not as bad looking as I thought it would be. No more slipping on the steps and our dog and cat have no more slipping and falling issues either. Side bonus, they make your RV feel even more high end. Bottom line, well never have another camper again without them.

Super easy to put on the steps, and made of what seems to be durable, quality materials. After the first hour our dogs were completely comfortable using the rv steps, which they had refused to do previously, AND , there was a noticeable decrease in leaves, pines needles and other stuff being tracked into the trailer. These were worth every penny to me. Highly recommend!!!
