This has been my first major Lego set in years; after growing up with the late 80s models that Lego has, I was eager for a challenge. Plus my mom loves it after seeing it. It took about 6 hours over two days to build, the length of time mostly just to enjoy the little details that the designers put into it. From the kitchen sink to the drawers to the cabinets, even the lava lamp and plant in the back, this was a fun model to build and you can tell the designers had fun with it.
