> 3 dayGreat for commuting to the office and for a short trip. NOT great to be a carry-on in place of a purse. I had a brilliant idea. Instead of carrying around my normal laptop bag, I would use a backpack that looked professional in lieu of the laptop bag. I bought this to do the trick. For short trips, it fits the bill perfectly. Its cute, but professional enough to where I didnt feel strange bringing to a customer visit. (pre-COVID obviously) But it holds much, much less than it should. I have had other bags that are identical or smaller in size and they hold twice as much. Part of what makes this bag more professional looking is that it is very structured with very little give. It will not bend or bulge because you have overstuffed the backpack. BUT it also makes it very infleixible. You can easily use this for back and forth to work, or on an overnight trip, but beyond that, its just not practical. To compare, my old laptop bag would hold quite a bit. I could even stuff a small purse in there. I have also traveled using the LV MM bag, which is about the same size as this backpack, but the LV bag carries a TON. This bag easily holds a laptop some small items, probably a notepad, business cards, and some mints. BUT it will not carry much in the outside pouch. I tried to put my asthma inhaler in the outside pouch and it kept opening up. Just could not keep it shut. So.. do I recommend this? Yes. It looks great. If you only have a few things, get it. But are you going on a trip for more than 1-2 days, and would you like to use this to store a small purse, some medicine, a pair of headphones, forget it. This is not the bag for you.

> 3 dayUpdate: Ive been using this almost everyday for school now for about 5-6 months, and the backpack straps are starting to rip at the top. I dont stuff it full, and its never been very heavy. The heaviest things Ive had in it on a daily basis are a laptop and my 32oz. water bottle, with a couple times where I had to put a couple books in it. But even then, it shouldnt rip because I only carry it the 10 feet from my house to my car, and then for a few minutes from my car to my classroom (2 minute walk, max...), and then the reverse of that when I go home (when its even lighter because my water bottle is empty at that point). Other than that, its sitting on the floor by me desk at school or by my desk at home. Other than the ripping, I have really enjoyed this bag and have gotten a lot of compliments on it! But I cant be replacing my bag every few months, so Im probably going to go back to using a backpack. --Original Review below-- I’m a teacher and wanted to replace my old bag that’s starting to look pretty beat up, and I don’t like using my backpack from college since I look young as it is and try not to blend too much with the students. It holds a lot! I haven’t been able to use it a ton yet, but I did test out how much I could put in, and I should still be able to carry everything that was in my backpack. The only thing I don’t like is that none of the pockets for water bottles will fit my 32 oz. nalgene, so that’s a bummer. I can still carry it in the bag though, so not a deal breaker.

> 3 dayLove this backpack. It’s comfortable to wear and can fit a lot of essentials. I used it for a conference and was able to pack my laptop, chargers, mouse, notebooks, additional books, umbrella, water bottle, snacks and a sandwich! Professional look with modern feel. I love it. The pocket along the back holds my wallet and phone more securely. Perfect backpack.

> 3 dayI like the structured nature of the backpack. Makes it easy to organize what you put in it.

> 3 dayThis is a great bag and I use it for my purse!!!! I did add extra padding to the bottom of the bag. Holds my iPad Pro and 15” Macbook Pro, as well as the many other items that I carry on a daily basis. Very good construction and a wonderful price too!

> 3 dayI bought this for a work bag. I have a 20 minute walk to my office and the one shoulder handbag that everything was thrown in needed to go. I LOVE this bag!! It feels so comfortable. My stuff is all in there (somewhere, havent decided the best spots yet as it has only been 1 day). The open mouth style is exactly what I was looking for too. Only 2 hiccups. 1. When I got in the car the end of the day, I noticed the fabric in the shoulder strap was splitting. Not at a seam but the front plain fabric area. Not noticeable unless you moved it a certain way. Doing a replacement through Amazon and it is set to be deliver Sunday before my next work day. Which is GREAT because I was actually sad not to have it for work the next week. 2. Suggestion would be for the 2 outside side pockets. Either make them taller or with some elasticity to the opening. I am not planning on using them except as a temporary spot when the bag is set down and not being carried. I feel like it is too easy for things to fall out (even my umbrella like the ad suggests) and because of the water resistant material carabeeners etc. do not grip it well. LOVE this bag! P.s. I rated the water resistance low because I have not had the opportunity to test it, however with the fabric I really have no concerns it will be fine.

> 3 dayThis bag looks very professional at work when I carry it by the shorter handle, and then its easy to commute home by bike by using it as a backpack. Wish the straps and handles had a bit more padding and a zippered compartment inside. Also would be better if the top zipper was tucked under a flap to prevent rain from leaking through the zipper. Otherwise, a very functional bag.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this backpack! It stands flat on its own and because the opening is square I can easily Organize things when I’m sliding them in. There are pockets all the way around on both the inside and outside so there’s plenty of place to store items. I was able to get in my laptop, charger, mouse, a surge protector, and all of my books and notebooks with room to spare. I love the little pocket on the outside that I can use to hold money and personal things while it’s on my back. It adds a little bit more security because no one would know when I’m wearing the backpack that there is a special pocket back there.

> 3 dayThis bag has gone through 2 years of daily work commute and as a weekend bag for travel. I’ve spilled water and coffee and can barely see any stains on the outside. Also those spills never got inside the bag. I’ve carried a full size textbook with work binder, iPad, water bottle, clutch wallet, and mini makeup bag. All snug but able to close. I can pack 2-3 outfits with a pair of flats for weekend travel.

> 3 dayI bought this for my wife to use for her work laptop. Overall it seemed great. Lots of compartments and sturdy made. It was exactly what she was looking for. However, shortly after starting to use it one of the straps tore along the stitching line. I believe this may have been a fluke thing and not a sign of the quality of the product. We returned it for a replacement and the new one seems much better. Only time will tell but after a thorough inspection before use the new one seems to have been sewn with more material so...fingers crossed.
