> 3 dayWell worth the money for me, I added the additional trim ring as I was not happy with the rough cut drywall still showing. Got plenty of room for add on equipment. I also had to add some additional wood as this wall had 24 stud centers but is plenty sturdy and I still have access to the left side bottom cabinet.

> 3 dayI was a Telecom technician for over 5 years, and I have been a controls electrician for the last 6. I work in controls panels, and used to work in smart panels all day. I was used to seeing Open House and Legrand smart panels for the most part, but when I went to buy my own, I bought Leviton without much research, because it’s what first to came up on Amazon for a plastic panel (I’m putting my wifi router in it) and I trusted them as an electrician. I finally got around to installing my own Structured Media Enclosure / Smart Panel in my own home, and I am very unimpressed. The Leviton hole spacing is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from EVERY OTHER BRAND! That means all my Beldan, Open House and Legrand parts DO NOT FIT without modification. EVERY OTHER PANEL I have worked on had the same mounting hole spacing. If you buy this panel, you will be stuck using Leviton parts, which are easily DOUBLE the price of every other brand. I had purchased this panel so long ago it was too late to return it, so I ended up spending around $400 in extra accessories that I already had for literally any other brand of panel. Shame on Leviton for making their product proprietary. Avoid this product all together and look for literally any other brand.

> 3 dayLove this box to keep a wire free look in my rooms under the TV. Have to cut out dry wall in order to mount it, and pull a new plug if you want to hide the power but makes for a clean look!

> 3 dayGot this to replace an old 24 panel the builder had installed. Tons more space that allowed me to put the cable modem and router out of sight. Well ventilated too

> 3 dayI have been a Leviton fan for many years. This is a beautifully made sturdy unit. The builder had installed an older 14 metal unit as a telephone splitter when we had landline phones. I removed that and cut the drywall to install this one. It fit exactly between the studs. The plastic material ensures you can install a wifi router. The plastic material is quite thick, and does not crack, so feel free to drill and screw if you wish.

> 3 dayThis is sturdy with lots of air holes. Great for mounting behind a tv as long as your wall studs are 16 apart. The power outlet punch-out wasnt the correct size for the blue box that I had, so I had to modify this box, which wasnt too hard, with a utility knife.

Greater than one weekI had outgrown my existing media structure in the house. Purchased this and very happy with the purchase. Cut out a larger hole to accommodate the bigger size, and installed it. Great quality and happy with the range and quality of all the accessories as well.

> 3 dayThis is a very good structured box. I think it’s somewhat expensive for what you’re getting, though. It can be installed in the wall, or you can surface mount it, which is what I did. There’s genuinely quite a few options here. The plastic itself is very, very sturdy - and ironically, perhaps too sturdy. The same attributes that make it so tough make the knockouts rather difficult to actually knock out. Someone posted a review of the box where he broke a piece of the plastic frame when knocking a spot out. The exact same thing happened to me in the same spot. I’ve seen many knockout ports that were nowhere near as hard to get out as these. It’s a real issue, but didn’t affect usability of the box. The same issue applies to the stud mounting on the side of the box. If you don’t need it, you can bend the plastic and take that off. However, there’s no way to do so cleanly, really. So there’s a couple of spots with jagged edges that I will trim down with a dreamer or multi tool at some point. If these were the only issues with the box, I’d rate individual aspects of this higher. My rating of four stars is rounded up, really. But they do not include any kind of mounting fasteners at all, which is kind of weak considering the price. They do include screws if you get a cover for it, but that’s it. What really sucks is the pricing of the “accessories”, some of which for sure should be included at this price. I was able to get by with Velcro ties, but you may not. My biggest piece of advice is to have some idea what you need in advance and price out any accessories you may need alongside this box. It will be hard later on to look at the whole price unless you’re prepared in advance.
