> 24 hourMy husband has lived in Alabama for 25 years and had problems with his sinuses ever since. He is constantly stuffed, sneezing, coughing, and it was getting worse. I was told by my friend who just bought this item that it cleared her up in Arizona so I ordered it. Within 15 minutes, his sinuses were COMPLETELY CLEAR. I just love its size and it sits on the fireplace hearth of our livingroom which is 24 x 16 and open to our kitchen. We have had it for a few days now. I think I am going to but a smaller one for his bedroom. He is 73 so we are home much of the time. We cannot express enough how this Levoit Air Purifier has changed his life. He is from Florida and never had a problem before he moved here. Thank You!!!!

> 24 hourI purchased this unit for my common area of the home to help manage the dust and dander that was being brought in by my 2 dogs. Initially, I had it running in my kitchen near the dining table but the noise was so obtrusive during dinner that I moved it into the living area. This has been good at controlling the amount of dust on surfaces and I have noticed that I don’t smell the lingering odors of dinner in the air like I used to. That being said, this thing is loud. On the highest setting it’s very similar to a box fan. I can hear it from my bedroom at the opposite end of my 1200 sqft house. I leave it running on the middle setting most of the time to reduce the noise. I have the mini version in my bedroom that is significantly quieter even on the highest setting. I would be interested to know the difference in purification efficiency of the large unit running on medium or low vs the small unit running on high in a 300 sqft room. My choice would be to have multiple small units vs one large one due to the sound quality. That’s just my two cents.

> 24 hourIn our house everyone sleeps with a fan. Fans collect a lot of dust and blow it back into the air. So in a effort to provide cleaner air to our children we bought one of these to try in his room. He seems to sleep much better with the air cleaner. We will be buying one for every room. There is a sleep mode so you can set the timer for two, four, six, or eight hours. It works great for a gradual wake up. Our son also enjoys the noise level. He has sensitive hearing and likes that it’s more of a soft blow but loud enough for him to not hear the rest of the house. It does smell a little funny when it is in the process of cleaning the air in the room but after a while the smell goes away and the air doesn’t have much of a smell which is a good thing.

> 24 hourI wanted to wait to review this after some months to see how will it works. With the dust and from one cat dander, this little machine works great. That filter is from use at about 6 months on low fan. This air filter machine has significantly reduced by allergen problem a lot. We have a bit more dust and pollen problems where we live and it does come in the house no matter what we do. This little machine really helps on keeping it under control!

> 24 hourIve had this since the end of the Summer of 2020 here in California where for months our quality was very poor to unhealthy due to rampant wild files. I use it almost daily and its really made a huge difference. Especially when it comes to congestion and hayfever during the spring when pollen is everywhere. I no longer wake up congested due to the air quality throughout the year. Its fairly low profile. Tuck it away in the corner of the room and you should be fine. Single speed is not too audible. Usually good to sleep through. Above that you will definitely hear the machine kicking in. At the highest speed, you are cranking up the speakers or putting on headphones. The filter replacements and variations are very simple to install and replace without being too costly. A little more than some cheaper alternatives, but this unit is a workhorse and just works as advertised, definitely recommended.

> 24 hourI have one in each room and was shocked with the amount of dust on it these first five months of use. I researched a little more and it does say to vacuum the filters monthly to allow them to work better! REMINDER VACUUM FILTERS MONTHLY! Has helped up my kids and I with our allergies so much. Definitely buying one for the living room! 10/10 recommend!

> 24 hourI have had this for a few months now. I noticed a clear difference with the amount of dust in my bedroom. I also can see the dust on my filters when I change them! Worth the buy!! Considering buying more.

> 24 hourI try not to buy things from Amazon because it is a slippery corporate slope and Ol Cowboy Jeff is happily destroying the small business that America claims to love. That said, I get that it is a very useful service for many folx, especially those who cant leave their houses, which was all of us in spring 2020. (Funny how that time hasnt resulted in more accommodations for folx with disabilities!) With my guilt-fueled pontificating about Amazon complete, I will now admit that I bought this to bring with me on a cross-country train ride in the summer of 2020! My partner and I were moving from East Coast to West and we decided that taking a 3-day Amtrak was less virally terrifying than flying. In retrospect this seems a bizarre decision warped into life by quarantine brain, but it worked because we could bring our bikes and LOTS of bags with us for very little money which would not have been possible on an airplane. We managed to fork out enough for a private room on the California Zephyr (thanks pandemic prices!) and my belief was that this would be a totally safe situation IF we had an air purifier on board. Reader, I was... misguided. This is a big object! Which I wouldve known if my panicked mind had taken five seconds to read the size specifications. There was no way I was going to get it into my duffle bag, let alone set it up in the Kleenex box of an Amtrak sleeper compartment. Also, if I had managed to bring along my air safety friend, in retrospect it probably wouldve tripped the break for the whole train car. So, the round Levoit went into the cross-country crap delivery box although really I shouldve just sold it rather than paying for its weight to follow me to California. However! I was glad my fear-shredded mind decided not to let it go because the first month we lived in the Bay Area, this air purifier was absolutely clutch for making our bedroom sleepable during all the fires. It did not protect us from COVID at any point, but it cleared out slithery window-breaching smoke like a rockstar. I was impressed. Suddenly the size seemed too small for such power. Several years later it is a beloved member of our house of droids (including a keep-warm coffee pot that hisses, a vacuum that burps, and a rice cooker that squeals.) It handily clears out the smell when Ive accidentally left the window open above my next-door neighbors weed smoking spot. It also keeps our room from reeking of farts after a night of post-beans sleep. Terrific purchase in the long run. I make sure to dust it regularly and pat it affectionately every day.
