> 3 dayFor the price the monitor seemed like a great buy. Worked well out of the box but after two months started blacking out once in a while. After three months if blacked out every 5 seconds. It was past the return date so amazon hooked me up with LG support. I was told it was a problem with some of the monitors. They said they would send me a return for repair label in a couple of day. Its been three. Still waiting. Would have rather had a credit towards a different monitor. My fault for going cheap. Still no label. When I check support with the ticket number I was given return No Data. Im just going to throw it in the trash. No more LG for me. Bought an LG fridge. Compressor went in 18 months. Monitor in three.

> 3 dayOK I’m just going to be short and to the point: I tend to obsess and research things to a great deal before I buy them. I spent four hours trying to figure out which monitor would work with my laptop given the graphics card would only work with a 1920 X 1080 monitor. After plugging in an HDTV with a 39 inch screen, I realized how awful it looked and how difficult it was to read documents and spreadsheets (when you’re only 3 feet from the screen; as in when you’re sitting at a desk). I bought this monitor because I didn’t want to waste $200 on no-name junk like a “view sonic” or some strange Chinese monitors, but was very worried it was going to look awful (just like the 1920x1080 flat screen TV). I can tell you it looks amazing. Obviously not as nice as a 4K ultra television. But it looks great if you are working from home and just want a big monitor that does not blur text. It also has a very nice picture for streaming, but obviously you can do better by spending twice as much.

> 3 dayNot a gamer, so Im not sure of the additional demands that gaming puts on a monitor, but it is a great monitor for regular work and surfing stuff that I do. Only wish that monitors and TVs in general would go back to matte finish to help with glare.

> 3 dayI got this for my wifes home office, to match one that I bought a few years ago. She needs two monitors when she works, and shes very happy. The picture is excellent, and although Im not a gamer, I generally choose my computer components that are geared towards gaming, as they tend to work better for us.
