LIAN LI ADDRESSABLE RGB STRIMER Plus 8-PIN V1 (Original Version 1, not V2 version)

Product picture was wrong so it wont work in my case. They want me to pay to ship it back. This has happened several times with Lian Li products on Amazon. I LOVE Lian Li, just dont buy it from Amazon. Dealing with customer service is a waste of time.

Pros: very bright, material doesn’t seem cheap, has a good amount of rgb choices, they also look nice turned off, easy to connect. Cons: they aren’t too flexible, annoying to flip the rgb cables if you need to run the cables a different way, since it’s just a adapter it makes cable management much worse, the very worst part is the control has to be inside the pc so it’s a hassle to change the settings

Do it. It looks sick if you already have the 24pin RGB cable its a no brainer.

The moment I installed these, I instantly boosted to 6.8 GHz on all cores, saw an increase of 300 more frames per second, and my temps dropped to Sub-Zero. Thats how great these things are. Lian-Li knocked it out of the park with these. Theyre very well made. The cables are firm and sturdy. The light moves across the cables smoothly, and theyre nice and bright. Theyre a great mod to any build.

I have had it for a couple of months and one of the LEDs is already messed up as you can see in the picture it’s always a different color than the rest of the strip other than that it is a good product looks good ties in with my motherboard so the patters that you can put it on it are amazing

Not as much what I expected. The lights dont work all the time. Usually its just halfway and not to mention they put the connections on BACKWARDS and reversed. I had to take it apart and flip it all around which was pretty frustrating and hard to snap the wires back into the plastics. The bottom looks messy when you bend it. Idk. Maybe mine is a dud. I mean it was on the wrong way. Maybe I will return it and try another. But for now. 1 star for the idea. If I get a new one and it works better than I will edit this review.

Only down side is having to open the case to change the colors, speed, or pattern you want.

Product did not fully light up only 2 rows of the lights worked

I absolutely love this product. It adds a significant amount of customization to my pc which was important to me when building. A disclaimer that the wire is flexible but not as flexible as you might expect. I have a mid tower case and it fits without issue but I can imagine I might not be able to get the desired fit in a mini itx case because of this. The control box is not too big and works like a manual controller so this lives in the back of my case. I set my desired RGB and havent touched it since. Something to think about if you are tight on space.
