> 24 hourGreat value in this large size, though beware...there are no opening instructions. Fortunately, some lovely you-tuber of the non-plant variety affirmed that you do indeed pull off (pliers are indispensible here) the two side tabs in order for the lid to simply lift off, whilst it easily snaps back shut when finished with. In my tubs case, the gloss medium had formed a thick plastic layer inside which had effectively glued the lid on, so even when the tabs were off I had to use a great deal of force (on a tightly fitting lid with nowhere to find a purchase) to open the product. I just thought Id add, that Ive partially solved the problem of decanting by using measuring cups from the kitchen! Not ideal, but you can sit one inside another to avoid mess and waste.

> 24 hourLove this stuff. Learned about how to use it from Painting With Jane on YouTube. She uses it to make background recede, create foggy scenes and for other glazing effects. Price here is decent-better than Michaels, worse than DickBlick.

> 24 hourJust started using acrylic paint mixing this in with paint gives you a much better time frame to blend colours it’s not as long as oils but it gives you a good chance to make better paintings
