This cage is huge! My sons rabbit was in a much smaller cage. Now hes in a mansion! Hes got tons of room and loves to hide under the shelf. The only thing I would change would be to add a ramp so the bun could get in and out easier. Everything was packaged well and nothing arrived broken. The water bottle (as I saw some others complaining about) is pretty cheap and flimsy, but hasnt fallen off and doesnt leak any more than any other water bottle Ive ever had. The food dish is a nice size. I honestly havent seen anything yet that I dont like about the cage (with the exception of the ramp - but thats definitely not a deal breaker). I would purchase this again and would recommend it. As far as using it for other animals, I think it would work for guinea pigs or larger small pets (I hope that makes sense!). I wouldnt use it for a hamster or rats. The stairs up to the top of the shelf are very steep. Im not sure even a guinea pig could use them. Youd probably need to install a ramp up, which could be done easily if youre a DIY person.

The living world deluxe Pet Habitat, X-Large is just perfect. Bunny is a big girl and has ample room to lounge, play and hide. Very pleased with purchase. Bunny doesnt mind going home to Deluxe Pet Habitat after her 4 hour freedom runs.

I love this cage and so does my bunny. She doesnt even want to leave. Very big and spacious for her, shes about 3 months but a little on the big side, I dont know exactly how big. I only got her a month ago but she required an upgrade due to the fact she grew very fast. My only complaint so far about this cage (ive had for about four days) is the door. It is SO HARD to open, you have to pull out then slide. ive actually jammed my finger trying to open it. I get it needs to be rabbit proof but its almost human proof too ! Its very annoying. I dont have bedding in the cage, my bunny doesnt really care for it but the bottom of the floor is textured so my rabbit doesnt have a problem moving around. Daily, i just sweep all the stuff off the floor. If something get stuck to the bottom of the cage, it is harder to get off because of the texture but its not that serious if you keep up with the cleaning. I havent tried separating the base from the wiring but it doesnt look like it would be too difficult, it is very big though so make sure when are going to do that you are going to have space for the wire part and the bottom part. The directions were a little difficult to understand, they could be a lot better. This cage is great though and i would highly recommend it. The pictures dont even do the size justice ! ** Quick Note: The price on this cage fluxuates dramatically, when I was looking at it originally, the price was a 100 dollars but few days later i saw it and brought it for 70.00 dollars. So pay attention before you buy **

Awesome product! I was worried about my daughters bunny having enough room to be comfortable and able to play. This habitat is huge! Plenty of space for a small sized litter box and still has enough room to explore. She loves it. Love the front and top openings for easy access. The built-in hideaway under the ledge utilizes the space, giving her bunny room to roam. Very happy with my purchase!

If the door was bigger and centered, If the cage was held together by something stronger than plastic clips, it would be a terrific cage. I had to hold mine together with zip ties. The door being where it is makes it very easy for a pet to run away from you

Not a five star for me because of a few issues. Bought the large size for our senior rabbit. Hes almost ten, weighs 4 lbs. and has arthritis in his spine so not easy for him to get in and out of this cage through the smaller opening in the front. The deep bottem is great (no more bunny poop and hay escaping), but I will have to purchase a ramp for him to use so he doesnt injury himself going in and out. The wire front door doesnt open and close with ease. The top does not stay open by itself making it difficult to clean or get our bunny in and out. The balcony/hideaway and hay bin were usless for us, but will keep the bowl for backup. The water bottle is cheaply made and it does drip a little. We ended up using the bottle holder and replaced the water bottle with my buns old one. We will be able to live with these small issues, but we will have to as you can NOT return this item. Overall, a nice cage with lots of room for our old man bunny :)

Water bottle leaks and hay falls out of holder. But the rest is easy to use. Plenty space for your animal. As large as it is would be nice to have wheels.

I have two pet rabbits, about 5-7 lbs each, and they use this cage daily. Some of my favorite features include the little cave underneath the platform, the open space on the opposite end of the platform, and how easy it is to take apart for regular cleaning. Theres a little cave underneath the platform which my rabbits like to use when theyre scared. Its important to me that they have a place to run to where they feel secure. It also keeps cool during the summer so they like to go in there to get out of the sun. The open space opposite of the platform is big enough to put in a large litter box (intended for cats). Thats where I put their litter, hay, and water. They dont use the top of the platform very often, nor do they use the attached bowl on it. They usually eat together and the platform isnt big enough to hold both of them comfortably. If you dont like the platform at all, you can take it out. The floor has a grid-like pattern on it so my rabbits do not skid on it. I like to give the cage a good wash about three times a year. Its light weight enough where I can do that. I just unlatch the hooks on the side and hose down the whole thing in our driveway. Fur and grime get settled in between the metal and on the floor, but thats expected. Weekly care will help to keep it as clean as possible, as well as big washes a few times a year.
