> 24 hourGood for keeping screws in and nuts on bolts. Put it on the threads of the screw and wait the full 24 hours to be sure its set. This stick version is really nice, lets you just roll a screw on the top instead of dealing with a liquid. Been using their stuff for many years. Make sure you get the right strength for the size of your screws. - Low strength - purple/loctite 222 (liquid) is for up to 1/4 screws Med strength - blue/loctite 243 (liquid) & 248 (stick) is for 1/4 to 3/4 screws High strength - red/loctite 263 (liquid) is for up to 1 screws Purple you can take the screw back out with just a hand tool. Blue you may need some sort of leverage. Red youll want to heat up a little bit before trying to remove the screw. Stay within the manufacturers suggested strength for your screw size to avoid risking stripping/damage. Ive stripped a few screws in the past thinking that it would be fine, but the screws were softer than I expected. Not worth the risk/headache.
