Lana is one of the most underrated artists of our time. This album is incredible. Its very personal and passionate and her voice is just beautiful. I really hope she never stops making music. Shes gifted.

While theres potential hit singles here (World at War, Groupie Love, Get Free, and Summer Bummer), what really stamds out about this albums is that theres really NOT a bad song to be found here. And its ALL generally better than what the kids today are trying to pass off as music - lets face it - its been a bad decade for the music industry. Bottom line, I LOVE this fine albums, its a BIG step up from the dreadfully mournful; Honeymoon album catastrophe.

This became an immediate favorite! Lanas voice is just so soothing & full of emotion. Stand out tracks for me are; Beautiful people, beautiful problems, with Stevie Nicks & Tommorow Never came, with Sean Lennon. Plus Lust for Life with the Weeknd. Lana is always refreshingly different & doesnt need 50 back up dancers to help her perform her songs.

Each of her albums are relatable but completely different. I love her evolution. from Born to die and ultraviolence... Lust for Life. (I personally enjoyed honeymoon but I understand those who didnt find it that interesting.) Shes opened up in recent interviews when she talks about the very real stuff she had going on in her relationships. Each song is entrancing. At first, I didnt like some songs and I was standoffish but now that I have it and just have it on a playlist I became fond of the others too. Some more then others. However, I thought the structure of the album was weak, unlike the very organized born to die and ultraviolence. It lacked personality in my opinion. I think after the harsh born to die / ultraviolence moral criticism, Lana wanted to touch on subjects that she had previously criticized for regardless of the years that went by and the moral growth she developed. However, while trying to make an album to redeem her name, she definitely was misled. She had been developing the album for over a year so I can imagine how many songs she wrote while in the studio that would be more fitting, but in wake of the political crisis and its effects on hollywood, she felt the need to change her artistic style. Dont get me wrong, I love a happy Lana! I dont want her to be depressed, nor do i want all of her music to be depressing! However, this album feels somewhat superficial but critics are still so harsh on her to this day so I understand why she rerouted the theme. Amazing album regardless!

Keep skipping words on the tracking. Record looks clean but not smooth when playing. I order 4 albums and this one didn’t work as well.

Lust for life may not be Lanas most popular album but it’s worth many listens.
