Greater than one weekIt came as pictured and described. Worked as it should to test the power supply at the RV park before plugging my RV in. It is a one time protection and done, but it’s an insurance device if you want protection without the high price of the resettable type. Would recommend everyone get at least this level of protection.

18-12-2024We have been using it for over a month, there was a light sprinkle and it kept it from getting wet with the shield. No issues.

Greater than one weekAfter experiencing a tragic surge event that blew out electronics due to a lightning strike, I put surge protection on everything I own. This includes installing a whole-house surge protector on my electrical panel and also using quality brand surge protector for my electronics. This RV 30-Amp protector is a perfect way to not be a victim to the immense campground power grid. You’re camper electronics won’t be attacked by a neighbor camp’s crappy camper shorting out and creating a spike or a lightning strike — as the old saying goes, if it isn’t storming’ thh my run you aren’t campin. Like some of the other similar units offer, this has a weather protector shield that my cord plug fits perfectly into. The LED indicator lights are great to see the campground grid is safe to use.

> 3 dayThe unit came shipped with an open box and had small pieces of what looked like grass inside the waterproof cover. It had some dirt marks near the plug also. I plugged it in and the lights seemed to be working. I live in Florida and we get nasty thunderstorms almost daily so I hope this will save me if needed but I’m not too sure now. It seems like I’m not the first to have this issue. Otherwise it looks like a solid surge protector. UPDATE: I used it for a few days and had some nasty storms and the weather proofing worked great. I like the product. They offered me a full refund but I’ll keep it because it’s built solid. Another update. The seller just refunded my money after saying who concerned he was about me being satisfied. I told him I wasn’t looking for a refund but he gave me one anyway! Great customer service! The unit works great so far and I would recommend this product and seller to anyone. 5 stars!

Greater than one weekCover doesn’t shut all the way, needs to be bigger with the added grip loops on the plug in. Water could get in, used it in a torrential downpour and didn’t have an issue. Light diagram is simple to understand. Surge protector is a must have if you don’t want an unexpected repair
