> 3 dayThe velcro wrap that you have to fuss with every time you open and close it is a deal breaker . PIA for me at least . Might cut it off or replace with leather strap ? Newer ones have all eliminated the velcro .

> 3 dayJust what I was looking for. I needed a bag/case for my Makita 7 1/4 inch circular saw. The saw didn’t come with a case. I asked the store (True Value) where I bought the saw about the case or bag that will fit my saw. They referenced this bag but they wanted $56 for it. I searched amazon and found it for a better price. I received it today and the saw fits in the bag with plenty of space left. It’s sturdy and well made. It doesn’t come with the shoulder strap. Time will tell how it holds up.

> 3 dayThis bag has sturdy fabric, a strong zipper, and pockets inside and out. It would be nice if the inside pockets had some kind of elastic to hold their shape, but thats my only real complaint other than perhaps a label pocket would be nice on the outside. I have two of these, one for my reciprocating saws (fits two of the single battery Makita saws with room to spare) and one for my worm drive style circular saw. Be warned that there seems to be two tiers of Makita tool bags and this bag is of the higher tier. The lower tier has thinner, floppier fabric, not as nice of handles, a thin bottom, no wire stiffener supporting the zipper, and many have no pockets inside at all. Be careful when shopping as the quality varies by model. Ive purchased a similar size Milwaukee bag and I prefer the Makita. The Milwaukee doesnt have as nice of loops for a shoulder strap, the bottom panel seems stiffer and the Milwaukee handles arent as nice and dont have the wrap that protects your hands, and the Makita bag can be found cheaper.
