> 24 hourThe fact that these buckets fit inside one another makes beach clean up and packing so much easier on us. And the stacking / nesting is fun for our 2 year old daughter. The buckets were durable and stood up to a lot of sand, water, and carrying around the beach.

> 24 hourThere are several reasons I like these buckets. The plastic is is thick and durable. When you squeeze them there is a little give, about 1/2, so there are not super rigid, nor flimsy. Each one is a pleasant color and there is a numerical number printed large on one side in a contrasting color. Opposite that number is the number spelled out and it is engraved in the plastic. I like this because the color is less likely to scrape off. On the bottom of each one is a mold. The #3 bucket has three turtles on the side, the number 3 spelled out and in numerical form and the bottom mold has 3 turtles to match. Each numbered bucket is like this, respectively. Even with the molds on the bottom, the buckets sit steady on a flat surface. I havent had a chance to try them out at the beach, but we use them to play with by making up games-ex:put the red car in the yellow bucket, how many are in the red bucket, etc. I am glad that they dont all have a handle because they would not nest all together as well as they do.

> 24 hourExcellent. My 18 m-o grandson absolutely took it over and couldnt stop playing with it for over 1/2 hour. The number, shapes, and colors make it a multipurpose learning toy in addition to the beach use. He loved stacking it over and over and over! His 4 yo brother actually stood on it (OMG) in the hardwood floor and it didnt seem to hurt them, but I dont think that should be done regularly. I dont know the status after their beach trip but if there is anything to report, Ill edit. Buy this set!

> 24 hourMy 16 month old LOVED these buckets. First of all, he likes stacking and nesting toys, and these were a perfect size for him. Also having the cute sea creatures on the bottom was fun for us, as we are just learning to count things. He would look at them on the pail, and it was remarkable how well the forms came out when we made castles. We also got a bucket with a rake and shovel, but they didnt get used at all - he just wanted these nesting pails. Well done Melissa & Doug.

> 24 hourI bought these buckets for my one year old to play with at the beach. While they were cute and did work, they were a lot smaller than expected. This had pros and cons: Pros: great for small hands. They were just her size and she liked stacking them. They were numbered, so we could point and count while putting them in order to help with number recognition (and colors too). Cons: she couldn’t really put anything in them other than sand and water (which is what’s intended so that’s fine. she frequently dumps other toys inside her other buckets we bought). All in all they just don’t hold much for the price point.

> 24 hourMy son loved playing with these on the beach. The bottoms have molds of sea critters! They are nesting making packing them or keeping them organized super easy. They are very well made.
