Got two of them very difficult for me to figure. Got one to work using phone as on and off switch and the other have not figure out to set up one that I have working works ok manually but that’s it

I really like these. I plugged them in. Opened the app. The app showed me I had new plugs to add and I added and named them and I was DONE. Wow.

Requires entry of your Social security number in order to register. No thanks! Company is based in Shenzhen, China. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
