> 3 dayOne reviewer said you have to use a third party app. Well of COURSE you do, all devices will require some app on the phone to control. I only buy things that use the SmartLife app since that way I only have to have ONE app on the phone to control my lights, devices, etc... These work with smartlife. Another thing they do that the previous set I have did not - they will persist a power setting. So if you have a power loss or brownout for a moment, if this was powered on at the time, it will power back ON again when power is restored, unlike many that always default to off again. But two of the four here failed utterly being able to connect to any app. They would not connect. I couldnt get them to reset to get the fast blinking light needed to join to the SmartLife app. Ive tried the power button hold, the plug/unplug multiple times, all the normal things that are supposed to put these into the setup mode needed. Two of them, nothing worked. The two that came up in the setup mode with the fast blinking lights were immediately found by smart life and able to connect, get named, and worked fine. But a 50% failure rate is too high.

> 3 dayTurn any plug in product to a smart device!!!! I set up the plug in the manufacturer’s app then connected it to my Alexa app! Works perfectly!

> 3 dayFirst, you have to install their App, using just the Alexa App does not work. Once you have their App you have to figure out how to integrate it to Alexas App. Then set it up. They are OK, but I am going to stick with using the Amazon brand that uses the Alexa App from now on.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs are OK. Setup was very easy. However, one of the plugs I received didnt actually work. It connected but did not turn off the device when instructed to do so. (just a desk lamp). I connected another plug from the box instead and it worked fine. Not a big deal for me, since I only needed two of the four.

> 3 dayThese are easy to use and I didnt have a problem setting them up. Its nice to have remote/scheduled control over certain outlets. Note: this is for older wireless technology, but I find a lot of smart devices are for older wireless standards.

Greater than one weekNeed a special app to use, havent been able to figure out Alexa integration. It works as expected if you were just wanting to use their specific app, but I was hoping it would be an automatic or default setup with Alexa since it is advertised to work with Alexa.

> 3 dayThese took a moment for me to get how to get them hooked up and working but they work well. I like that its a 4 pack and I can use them for various things. Its cool how technology is evolving.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs work great, just like the other I have. No problems with any of them. Smart plugs are big, require you to install and app and, if you want them to be voice controled with Alexa or other assistant, youll need to install the password to give it access. Thats simply how any smart plug works.
