I actually purchased this for my bird cage, but when I saw that they offer little magnetic brackets that snap onto the light strip, well I couldnt resist adding natural light to one of my metal plant shelves! Im SO thrilled to have discovered this company. Even though the plants dont need a timer like the birds that turns the light on gradually, I find it calming and actually enjoy watching them come on as Im getting ready to start my day. Simple pleasures.

I have ordered a total of 3 of the 24 full spectrum avian lights.These are by far the best lights on the market today for your birds.M&M sells 3 different sizes(10,18,24) also for hook bill birds or soft bill birds.If you are ever in doubt on what type or size to purchase,just call M&M and they will gladly help you.You do have to PUT THE LIGHT ON A TIMER...........This light is NOT recommended to be plugged and unplugged on a daily basis.Again....PUT IT ON A TIMER.The directions even say this.Thanks M&M great product and fast shipping

I have 2 of these lights for my 4 lovebirds. One in each cage. I have them plugged into an Alexa plug and they turn on at 8 and off at 3 every day. I have them mounted on the outside of their cage and havent had any issue. My birds are very happy and chattering all day long. Im sure the appreciate the light

Exceptionally nice light for my large flight cage. The pictures don’t show them, but it features a small clip on each end that’s adjustable. The clips sit nicely on the wire of the cage, holding it perfectly in place. I’m rderng a second light for my breeding cage. For larger billed birds, like parrots, etc., they offer one that’s chew proof. This light is definitely for the soft billed smaller birds.

I absolutely love these lights! In fact, I bought one for my canary because his cage always seemed a little gloomy, and after seeing the amazing difference I decided to get one for each of 4 large finch cages. Now everybody is bathed in glorious light and all their features can be seen with ease! Having the lights on a dimmer is really the way to go because the gradual change is much easier for the birds to tolerate and doesnt startle them. Wish I could give more than 5 start.

Not sure if any actual health benefits for my birds, but they are much more active during the day with the light on. I do like how I can see the birds better in the cage. Originally purchased the 18 version, but it arrived with an apparent short in the cord. Returned with no issues, and purchased the 24 lamp which had a nicer, better made power adapter. I do use with a timer, and it works nicely. A bit on the pricey side, but thats just my opinion.

Very lightweight and low profile, which is a plus- the box was so thin and light I thought I had just gotten a bulb at first. Produces a bright white light that really brings out the colors of my birds. Good length of power cord that can reach to an outlet from the top of a tall cage.

Id give it a ten if you had it. This light changed my birds behavior completely. Very active now. There were times I thought I might lose my little female. But now she is more active than shes ever been and Im sure - happy. Get the slow on, slow off timer also. Its just as amazing.

When purchasing, make sure you buy an outlet timer, they are usually $15 or less. The light works just like its supposed to.
