> 24 hourMoho Pro is an excellent value for all you get. I am new to animation and walking through the tutorials helps immensely. It makes animation much less intimidating. This software has some amazing capabilities and if you really go down the rabbit hole you can make amazing animation. So easy to use even my kids use it a little.

> 24 hourIf you want simple 2D animations or straight frame to frame animations like in a 2D videogame object, its probably better to go with a public domain system like Blender. However, Moho does have a lot of strong animation tools and works with both 2D and 3D models. Tools are relatively easy to use especially for those familiar with many of the animation tools and such out there. Its heads above the last system I used back in 1995, when I was making videogame animations at a game school in Vancouver. We used a hand-me down software, the version of 3D Studio prior to 3D Studio Max, and the difference was like working with Windows 3.11 vs Windows 95 for those who remember those days. This is a polished product, the cost is not high like the licensing fee for 3D studio, but you will need to add something like Blender or Max to create the models and other objects. Moho is strictly and animation program. Therefore, the target audience would be animators who need something to create the animation from pre-created models. It gets a mild recommend for combining with Blender or other inexpensive modeling software to do a professional finishing touch on your animations.

> 24 hourThis software does appear very powerful. But after several hours of youtube videos and tutorials, I still feel I dont have a good feeling for the workflow. Most videos drill into minute details of power features. I just want to take a stock character, put it on a background, and have it lip sink. After hours of videos, I dont think Im close to that yet. But it does appear to be very capable software.

> 24 hourHonestly this program has almost every tool possibly I’m sure, however it’s definitely not for beginners nor is it easy to learn. I’ve had it probably almost half a year now and I’m still trying to figure out how to use it. It’s very complicated. Probably a wonderful product if your familiar with animation.

> 24 hourI purchased this software, for my YouTube channel. Its just for use to illustrate points I wish to accentuate. I have been through the manual, several times and completed the first tutorial. This will definitely be worth the money I investested. I am particularly excited that I can use my own art, for these projects. As stated, Ive only completed the tutorial. So far, so good!!!

> 24 hourExcited to master the debut so we can dig in to the pro. I did get both as I figured we would have one installed on 2 different machines and that the debut version would be good training ground. I will upload some creations once I get a little better. The large number of features makes this a valuable addition to my business.

> 24 hourI have experience with 2D digital drawing in Photoshop and other similar programs and I have experience 3D animating with Poser, DAZ, and Maya but Ive never tried my hand at animating my 2D digital art. I thought it might be a fun new area to explore. Im not a professional and everything Ive done is all at the hobby level. This is a pretty pricey program to use for a hobbiest like myself and if the price point is too high they do offer the more basic package called Moho Debut. However, if you are really interested in animating even as a hobby, I think the Pro version is worth it for all the additional features it has. I especially appreciate that it imports my photoshop layers and if I update the photoshop layers it updates the file in Moho too. If you are creating things with layers that you want to keep as separate layers this is a huge difference from debut that for me is a big plus. You also get a lot more control over bones and transformations. If you have previous experience with flash supposedly theres a lot of similar features youll be familiar with (I never animated anything in flash so I cant comment on how similar it is). There are also many features youll find familiar if you have experience with drawing programs that work with layers or with 3D art/animation programs. This is, in my opinion, a great program for making your 2D art into an animation. However, it does have a steep learning curve. Even with experience I dont think anyone is going to open this program and immediately start creating any award winning animations. However, there are a lot of videos, and tutorials out there and if you commit some time to actually learning and using the program you will be eventually make some really nice stuff. Even when I had a basic understanding of the tools in the program getting a feel of how to actually use them well took time. Ive been using it lightly for about 3 months and still dont feel proficient, but what Im able to do in it now is definitely better than what I was doing a few months ago when I first got it. The learning curve is steep, but worth it if you want to create good animations.

> 24 hourI picked this up for my graphics guy to use to make commercials and stuff for my company.... unfortunately due to his health failing; we havent really used it more than a couple times. However the software is quite robust and it has little tutorials that show you how to use it. will mess around with it more in the future and report back more details but the software is pretty cool with tons of base presets and also works with touch displays to draw your own things into it.

> 24 hourI got this and the basic program for my 10 yr old granddaughter who loves to draw (mostly anime-type figures) and who has some interest in basic programming and animation types of technology. Right off the bat I can see this is something she will need a LOT of time to navigate and learn how to use and manipulate. She is learning the basic program right now so I will have to return once she has some experience there so that this wont overwhelm her. Once she moves on to this program Ill come back and update with her thoughts and experiences.

> 24 hourMoho Pro software seemed intimidating at first but is incredibly easy to pick up once you use the included tutorial pdf. There are many methods to achieve animation with impressive results. This is my first time using this software line and I expected the 3D features as well, however, there are ways of still manipulating 3D-like environments and carrying over rendered objects in Jpeg formats. By using the Vitruvian bones to smooth out shapes and animate fluidly. The timeline reminds me of a video editor where you can manually record your motions on the mouse over of your bones and select the points In time, for which the chosen object begins animation. You can have many things going on at once in between any two points in time. The drawing function Is decent but crude, perhaps a drafting tablet is a better option but I rather import from other sources like Photoshop. I also use this in combination with other animation software with very little issue. The video results when exporting are lossless but results may vary, depending on your graphics card and PC. I will definitely continue using this until I am Pro at it (I’m a noob).
