> 24 hourI played this with some friends and ended up buying it for my brother, who was a huge monopoly fan when he was younger. I’ve never been a huge fan of the original game because it takes so dang long. This game is fun because it is pretty quick, it’s compact and easy to take on travels/out to the bar, and there isn’t pesky little pieces to lose. It is good for everyone, including the monopoly-haters! Warning: It still can induce competitiveness and fighting over stealing properties, but that is part of the fun.

> 24 hourGreat game. Lots of strategy. My grandkids beat me regularly even if I am trying to win.

> 24 hourMy children and I played this game at a friend’s house and loved it so much they asked me to purchase our own. It’s super fun and a quick game compared to the board game that can take an entire day to play. It’s easy to learn and involves some strategy.

> 24 hourWe discovered this game while both working from home during the pandemic. Every day at lunch we challenge each other. It’s quick to learn and quick to play and 2.5 years later we still play a hand or two almost every day as the strategy is so interesting. I’ve gifted to all my gaming friends. We love this game!

> 24 hourI really enjoy Monopoly Deal. In fact, I like it more than the traditional board game. Pros: - Games take WAY less time to complete than an actual game of Monopoly - It still has elements of the original game, so it feels very Monopoly-like. You still collect properties in order to win the game, and you still collect/pay out money. - The rules are simple, yet there is still some strategy involved in the game. There are two elements to the game and you have to manage between the two: property and money, in order to win the game. Cons: - The only con, which you can certainly jedi-mind trick people with...is the design of the card backs are a specific design in which you can tell if a card is right side up, or upside down. Some people will hold money or property upside down, so it kind of is deceiving. - There are a few card types that are super powerful in the game. Luckily there arent too many of those in the deck, but a well time use of a special card can really sway the scales of the game. Sometimes you just get lucky, but thats Monopoly folks :p

> 24 hourI bought this game for my husband for Christmas and we have played it every day since! In fact, we play it 3-6 times a day (we of course have to do the best two out of three to determine the REAL winner). Its a long enough game that it holds our interest but short enough we want to play again after weve finished a round. Weve even gone so far as to make up some of our own rules to make the game a little more challenging and longer. For example- 1. We count the two card properties as a half a property, you have to get two sets of those to count as one total property 2. You cant move a house and hotel set to different properties whenever you charge rent. Instead, on whichever property you lay those two cards down on they have to stay there for the rest of the game 3. We have to have five total properties to win. The game itself is fun, easy to use, and great for travel! Weve loved it even more after adding our own tweaks to it!

> 24 hourIve never been a fan of regular Monopoly, but I love this game that my 30-year-old son recommended. I love it and have purchased three more for gifts that were well received. I also bought a case for the cards, which is way better than stuffing them back in their box. I highly recommend.
