A previous case I bought (from Germany) is oriented in such a way that you had to open it to access the charging mini usb and the power button. Also, the magnet did not really work and came off after a few months. This is one is perfect.

This case perfectly fits the Kobo forma. The sleep wake function works as expected. The quality of the case is solid and there is no chemical smell. A tad bit in on the glossy side for the black version. Overall a great alternative for the official case which is way overpriced. Go and get one of these is you own a Kobo forma.

This is a great case and a good value. The device fits nicely and is very light. I have not used it as a stand and probably wont because I typically hold the device to read but its nice to have. My only one small issue is that I wish it was not so shiny on the outside. I prefer a matte finish case. But it does the job.

Good product. I have been using it for four to five hours a day since I received my Kobo Forma. The cover is light, protects the e-reader well and the magnets work like a charm. The cover works best in the landscape mode, but I, unfortunately prefer to read in the portrait mode with the buttons on which ever side I need at the time. Because of the geometry of the origami folds and material along the spine, the e-reader is canted slightly away from the spine of the fold. This is not a crisis, but worthy of comment.

Fits like a glove, no interference. 20% of the cost of the official one and neither one is REAL Leather. They both claim to be PU Leather which is Plastic simulated Leather or Pleather :-) For $50 I would expect the real thing. For$10 his cover works great, sleep function perfect, origami stand so so but works, I dont use it. The cover of course adds some dimension and weight but is negligible for the protection offered. When I am home I remove it for reading in bed or couch. The reader itself is so light and ergonomically designed with rotation function it is pleasant to use without the cover. Snaps in and out easily and worth having, cant beat the value. Purchased in Black.

Product works in Oasis 9th gen Kindle. Weight is not too noticeable. Fits ports correctly.

Cover works great! Magnetic closure works and keeps it closed when tossed in my bag. Turns on when I open it. Only downside would be that no instructions were included in how to fold it to use it as a stand.

Although this appears to look like the official Kobo Forma cover (it uses the same origami folds), the material is super thin (I think it might just be carboard with a thin covering) and the magnet is weak to the point of almost being useless. The cover does close, but if you open and fold it back it doesnt stay open. It works as a cover, but I would not recommend if you need something sturdy.
