> 24 hourGot this as my second monitor and now it’s the main one. So finicking with the settings and it works great. Lots of techno-babble to figure out what setting means what but it’s a learning experience getting good quality picture. Got it on sale, so extra worth it

> 24 hourIts amazing to me how we can have monitors in 2022 that dont offer basic settings. Great size, great colors, but you only have access to Brightness, Contrast, 5 levels of Sharpness (0 is a low-mid sharpness, so if you want less, youre not getting it) and Color Temperature. The black-levels on this monitor are atrocious and the backlight is incredibly strong. Imagine a stereoscopy effect of having a bright white monitor in one eye and an incredibly dark monitor in the other. Its less noticeable when playing a bright game, but if you wanted to play something somewhat dark youre going to have so much backlight in your face and so little variation of grey you wont be able to see whats going on. After a few hours of use I walk away with a terrible headache, this stereoscopy effect of bright light searing my retinas is terrible. Id suggest saving $50 and buying a cheap work monitor from Staples. Im not a gamer so all the settings like an alarm clock, mega refresh rate, adaptive sync, built-in crosshair (???) are cute, but when you cant see whats going on, whos going to win against someone camping in a dark warehouse, the guy with a big red cheating crosshair who cant see anything or the guy on a $70 screen who can adjust black levels? Will be looking into a return immediately. Horrible product, would never recommend. In the photo above, 1-5 cannot be seen Visibility only really starts at 8. Compared to my $70 tertiary monitor I can see them all fine, because its not missing mandatory settings. If I look very very closely you can barely make them out but the backlight overpowers the fine edges. Speaking of fine edges, the monitors Sharpness at 0 isnt enough, theres still too much gaudy sharpness. This monitor is a 0-10, because having bright colors is nice, but if you cant see half the games on the market today or any dark scenes in movies... Why bother?

> 24 hourAmazon prime time July 12&13 sale. Needed to stop using an old Sanyo 32 TV. Saw this on sale for 43% off, couldnt pass up. Forgot that monitors dont supply sound. Some speakers. Monitor is beautiful, night and day picture, and the frame rate / refresh rate during gaming spot on. Matched this up with a MSI GTX 16 series laptop, and the game play is spot on. Comes with a cool stand that swivels up and down, as well as raises up and down. The unit is solid. Highly impressed. Highly recommend this product. Amazon Prime delivered quickly and undamaged.
