It was quality wood , no plywood . All pieces were intact. None of the shims had knots or splits in them . No waste!

Product is 5 stars, 4 starts cause it took so long to deliver. Now that I ran to Home Depot I think you could get them way cheaper. They were only $2-$3 for them there.

My hand rails are pulling apart where they meet. I used the shims to fill in the gap. Worked great.

They kinda got the job done and I was too lazy to go to a local shop. Theyre very weak shims. For the price definitely not worth it. Paying for convenience here.

Could have got these at a big box store, but kept forgetting every time I went out so being the lazy dad that I am ,ordered them through Amazon. I crammed them under my cross beams in the basement to fix a squeaky wood floor on the level above....did the trick nicely.

Needed wood to fill in hole to set screw properly and this fixed the problem
