I just needed a few more wired Ethernet connections and this switch works perfectly

Excellent switch I used it to replace an aging 5-port switch on my gigabit home network I am expanding.

Very easy to install and does everything I need

its a thing and it works.

Switch ports are very fast.

I needed to be able to access more devices than just the 4 in my router. This device is excellent as all I had to do was just connect it into one of the ports in the router and one on the switch and BOOM I know have 7 more jacks for devices. I now can wire everything I need and get the throughput I desired, now I can transfer files from one device to another in seconds rather than minutes. If you have Gigabit devices on your network then dont slow them down with 10/100 switches (like I used to) and upgrade to the speed your devices really want when communicating with each other.

No need for tech support. Up and running in minutes. All the tech in my home office goes through this so I can see whats happening at a glance and it allowed me to write them all from the one CAT6 that was dropped in the room by the builder

This is just a straightforward 8-port unmanaged switch that does one thing very well: split a network signal into 10/100/1000 ports. No frills and just works.

Exactly what I needed and as advertised. Love the metal casing which is why I bought this one over the plastic
