This hammock is the perfect size for rats! Maybe a ferret or two. It clips right to the cage and I havent had any difficulties with it yet.

After 2 weeks, the hammock is shredded with Styrofoam pieces everywhere. Dont let the positive reviews lead you astray to buy this item. Machine washable is only good if your hammock isnt shredded to pieces.

Overall my ferret LOVES this hammock, he is always in the lower hammock area. However his little ferret nails EASILY scratch and snag the fabric. So I’d recommend making sure your ferrets nails are trimmed regularly or they will quickly tear this up.

My ferret has a new favorite hammock! Also very easy to clean, I just put it in the wash with his blankets every couple days and it doesn’t get tore up like other cheaper quality hammocks do. Don’t forget to remove the hooks before washing though if you’re using a machine.

Ordered one, and my babies loved it. Had it roughly a week or so. Ordered a second, and in that time the straps came loose from the corner, so we tied it. No biggie. Second one arrives, now the strap has come completely out of the hammock. Prep a return, they offer to send us a new one to replace it. In the mean time hang the second one. Within less than 24 hours, the BRAND new one has the same deal. Straps fall off the corners. Can’t cancel the one on the way since it’s already shipped. Will be returning all 3 and buying a different kind!
