I bought these specifically to fit into my FD Meshify C. These fans fit perfectly underneath the front mesh. I needed 15mm thickness fans because I have an RX 6800 on the way that is 325mm (photo shown is my current 1660 Super) - The RX 6800 wont fit with a 25mm fan front mounted inside, and a 25mm fan wont fit under the mesh without cutting. So these 15mm fans do work perfectly for my use case.

I bought this version because I didnt want it to be brown and didnt care about the lack of cables. The fan runs quiet and do a great job replacing the stock fans/shroud on my Zotac GTX 1080. As a fan, it is five stars but I understand why people are bothered by the increase in price while losing some of the accessories. Bottom-line: get this one only if you want the fan to be black, otherwise the classic brown ones are better value.

You care about performance and metrics like static pressure and CFM? You want wicked performance but also value sound? You want all this plus you still want everything to look amazing and match the rest of your system? One problem, you have a super small case or a very small place for a fan. Look no further. Noctua with their Chromax 15mm slim fan has you covered. This fan doesn’t sacrifice one or the other. It has amazing air pressure as well as static pressure. Therefore it can be used on a heatsink or as a case fan. What about looks? It’s jet black and comes with 6(iirc) different color options for the rubber corner pieces. Black, white, green, blue, red, and yellow. What’s the deal here? You get a fan that looks better than most fans, has customization options, is more silent than most fans, out performs most fans, has the ability to be connected to a Noctua L.N.A. to make it further silent, and all while being a 15mm slim fan so it’s much smaller than a standard 25mm fan. It looks great, is silent, has some of the best performance out there, and will fit literally anywhere a 120mm fan will go. Congratulations, you’ve found the best slim fan on the market in all aspects. Pat yourself on the back, your search is over. One final thing of note. The description says the fan comes with 8 black pieces and 4 of each color. That is not correct. It comes with 8 of every single color so you can do the entire fan on both sides in any color you like. I choose blue and paired it with the 140mm fan and the Noctua NH-D15S CPU cooler. Check out the beauty in the pictures.

This is a great high-performance, low noise fan for a tight spot. Its exactly what I needed for a build.

If you are compromised on space in your PC case or just like thinner fans these are probably the best you are going to get. Nice looking being black instead of Noctua’s usual brown schemes.

Awesome addition to my PC build. using it as an intake fan in the Corsair Airflow 275 case. the chroma line for noctua is awesome if you want to style out your rig. After buying the 120mm fan, i opted to buy the 140mm industrial chroma fans to beef up the airflow in my PC. Recently turned on to Noctua by a friend and will forever be a fan from here on out. Easy install and awesome accessories to cater to the aesthetics of your PC build with the variety of color choice for the bumpers.

The fan is quiet, but airflow is low with 0.13A motor. Not very efficient. The swappable pads are self adhesive, so cannot be reused. There is 8 of each color, (not 8 black and 4 of other colors - product description is wrong). Product gets shipped from manufacturer in Wiena (Austria), so be prepared for longer shipping time. I dont know how it will work in case of replacement or repair with shipping to Europe.

Using as an exhaust where a 25mm fan wouldnt fit. Its quiet and pulls enough air that the temps dropped a couple of Cs in a open loop build.

Noctua stuff is always a little pricey but I’ve never had any problems with any of their products. I put these in at the bottom of a ncase m1 to help cool the evga 3070 xc3 (2.2 slot card) and it dropped the temps by 5c-10c. Run super quiet. cooler GPU helps the CPU temps a bit too. (10700 set to 125w max sustained, cooled by noctua nhu9s)
