Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black)

Compared to every other fan I ever owned, this Noctua fan is near silent even at max speed. I dont much care for the customization option thing, but the solid black is perfect for me.

The pictures easily show it, somehow when whoever was assembling it plugged the cable into the fan node, they bent the pin outside of the plug. I just unplugged it and bent the pin back into place and that seemed to solve the problem for now. But all in all these fans are simply the best theyre incredibly efficient which is why they are so quiet. I would give this an easy 5 stars if it just didnt come with the bent pin.

After being VERY impressed by the 120mm Noctua NF-S12A fans I immediately purchased the 140mm NF-A14 fans to replace the stock fans that came with my radiator. Unfortunately, this second set did not live up to the first. At low RPM the motor on one of them makes a noise like a washing machine on spin cycle and both of them sound like vacuum cleaners at 50%. On top of the fan noise they also produce this loud undulating hum that is incredibly obnoxious. Im very surprised to have had this experience after the S12As were so incredible. Not all Noctua fans are created equal apparently.

Color is black which is good.

No complaints, works perfectly. Its difficult to write a flowery review when the design specs are all right on the page, and the products reputation exceeds anything i can say in my review.

Due to the static pressure these fans are providing, they are loud at any decentish rpm. They are not as quiet as people deem them to be. I guess I havent tried the other static pressure fans, maybe A14 is the quietest(per performance) among the bunch. For airflow, I can vouch for the S12A.

Great packaging, look aesthetically pleasing and for the minimalist design and seamless functionality this fits criteria well over.
