> 3 dayI opened this one out, snipped the cables, used the little joint connectors to attach it to a proprietary NAS system, viola, 12 volt powered cooling fan that was MILES better than the stock fan. Noctua really has this down, I still feel that EKWB could make better competition if they operated near USA.

Greater than one weekI got this to replace the noisy fan on an X58 chipset heat sink. Its quiet as could be and moves plenty of air for a 40mm fan, keeps the chipset as cool as Id hope, which is still pretty toasty. The only way I could get better cooling would be to disregard sound completely and get a 40x30mm banshee from a server. Im glad this exists in a market area thats practically niche.

> 3 dayI used this to replace a noisy 400 fan in a hot swap 3.5 drive enclosure. The connector was non-standard but this has all the ways to enable a connection to be made. It was a very tight fit and I had to remove the small rubber pads (which were designed to be removed).

Reduced motor hub size
