This won’t be one of those reviews with decibel levels because frankly I don’t have something to measure them with but I can tell you it’s remarkably more quiet and the temperature lower in the cabinet. After owning 6 and experiencing this problem, decided to repair rather than discard and found this fan to be the best choice. Fan comes with assortment of adapters and mounting options. Only adapter cord needed is the 2 pin to 3 pin to plug new fan into circuit board.(remainder can be discarded) Use a soldering iron or glue gun to fasten fan to plastic mounting tabs.

Reduced motor hub size
