> 3 dayThe CPU fan which also acts as the primary fan for the whole computer in my wifes little Lenovo IdeaCenter 510S all-in-one PC was starting to make noise. I am a long time PC builder and wanted to make her computer as close to silent as possible. I hardly even look at other fan brands anymore, I usually just buy Noctua and be done with it. Yes, they cost the most, but you will never be disappointed.

> 3 dayI used this fan to blow air over a 4-HDD RAID in my desktop. It also helps draw in extra fresh air for my CPU. I mounted it to a custom 3D printed frame in the 5.25 bays of my computer case. It works well and definitely moves some air without being too loud.

> 3 dayI have an older AMD Phenom II, running Linux. The fan finally died. It all still works, part of my home lab. Noctua 80mm fan was almost a perfect fit. Had to drill out the aluminum just a bit. Super quiet.

> 3 dayNot loud at all. Barely even hear it.

> 3 dayA bit more expensive than most fans of the same size, but they are rather quiet and will move air effectively. I have a pair in the back of a rack-mount computer case and it does the job well, quietly.

> 3 dayThe packaging screamed quality; adapter cables, extension cable, mounting screws, silicone mounting pegs, detailed instructions on the different uses and possible installation options, wrapped cables, etc... This fan comes with silicone anti-vibration mounts on all 8 corners that are removable, should you wish to. Quiet, this fan is whisper quiet, even at the highest speed. You can connect to 3 or 4 pin terminals on your motherboard. I could not be happier with this purchase & have already ordered a second fan.

> 3 dayWhat can I say, its Noctua, the finest and most reputable PC fan manufacturer there is.

> 3 dayNoctua fans are no joke. Fans quieter @ 2200rpm than some 140mm @1300rpm.
