> 3 dayThis thing is great, moves air well, and is far quieter than previous cooling fans. I cant say it is as quiet as the previous reviews made it sound, but my girlfriend is much happier with the noise from my CPU case now -- it used to drive her bonkers! :-)

> 3 dayMy computer chassis came with a very cheap and loud three pin fan. When I built the computer I decided to upgrade it and what a difference. This thing is super quiet and since it is a 4 pin I have more control over its function in the BIOS. Color isnt a problem for me since I cant see it on the back of the computer. Great upgrade for me. I also have the Noctua Low-Profile Quiet CPU Cooler for Intel 115x Based Retail Cooling NH-L9I and they go together well. Love this brand!

So, the only text out of all the information entered by Amazon that is currently correct is the title at the very top which says Noctua NF-A8 PWM Premium 80mm Fan. But, everything else references an entirely different fan. And if you happen to be reading about several different fans at the same time and scroll down this page just enough so you no longer see the title, you can very easily end up ordering what you think is an NF-P12 based on the other 3 places it mentions that. Come on Amazon, you only got the model correct in 1 place out of 4 on the page??? Your customers deserve better!)

21-12-2024Great fan that came with a lot of extras (stabilizers, rubber feet to decrease noise, and multiple options for connecting it). Only issue is that it is about 2mm bigger between the holes than it says. This probably is not an issue for most (as this fits a standard configuration in a computer) but it did not work for my purposes (replacing a noisy fan in my aquarium hood). 4 Stars because of the misfit, and because I had to order this twice (the first time it never showed up, but amazon refunded my money so it was all good).

With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
