> 24 hourI have heard that Noctua fans are quiet and deliver what they advertise. I chose the Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black for its static pressure rating to replace the fan on my ID-cooling 224 cooler. I wanted to see if it would make much better of a difference because the cooler as is works great and lowered my cpu temps. The NF-F12 installed easily and felt like a quality product. The black chromax looked good and the rubber bumpers matched my case. The fan did not disappoint because it lowered the cpu cooler temps another 3c. Quiet operation. Loved that they included a pwm extension. Well worth the money.

> 24 hourWow these look exactly like my NF-F12 iPPC 2000 just slower. Wait what they sound the same if you run them at the same speed and have the same stupid white product code? i bought this because i though i would not look terrible in my case. Not a overpriced NF-F12 PWM with 3 sets of UNMATCHING rubber pads. And the forced extension cable? I have the option to plug it in 2cm away or 13 inches? what happen to like 4/6 inches with a optional 8/10 inch extension being common sense. Do you want it to look good or have a big fat cable connector hanging off every fan. I also got black screws in one and silver screws in the other... seriously. Do yourself the favor and just get ippc version and buy the rubber pads in the color you want, only difference is your getting a better fan for the same price. Without the green and yellow chromax pads no one wants.

> 24 hourHad to replace failing ID-cooling fan that came with the heat sink I bought recently, which I did anticipate. I was glad to have the excuse to get one of these. Temps are even further down, keeping things in 40c to mid 50c while gaming or constantly playing video on a 3600 when prior I was getting up into 60s even on the new heatsink+fan (I have the ID-COOLING SE-234-ARGB). Keep in mind, so much goes into your personal temperature experience, but I find this to be as claimed, the best fan out there. If there is no other noise in the room, I can hear the fan but it is drastically quieter to what I had before and as far as I can tell, seems quieter than the Corsair argb case fans when I run them at the same rpm. I would recommend using black bumpers instead of white if you think the white is going to pop any when exposed to LED light. It doesnt pop at all but Im too lazy to switch lol. Overall, I am excessively pleased with this and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldve done it like this, which is to have the ID fan start to fail after a few months and buy this as the upgrade so I can fully appreciate it. I would totally recommend this fan to any friend, family member, or internet stranger for their CPU cooling fan.

> 24 hourAs far as fan functionality goes, I see no difference between this device and its tan colored counterpart. So for a few more dollars you get the same fan colored black, about 1 less of cable, no PWM splitter or low noise adapter, and only 4 of each color rubber corner. For the price increase I expected either a superior fan, or the same parts in the box.

> 24 hourin the end the black ones and the brown ones will both perform amazingly But if Aesthetics is what you want and you dont care about cable management then these would be ok. But I wish I went with the Brown ones cause these fans dont come with any of the adapters or cables!! Just stupid multi color pads. MY Fault as pics clearly show so not false advertising! Just me not paying attention and thinking more about aesthetics then function! and I regret it :(

> 24 hourI have a handful of regular NF-F12s, and am a big fan of Noctua products in general. A few design choices with the chromax version are a bit perplexing.
