> 3 dayHave now replace cpu and gpu cooler with H55 and and replaced stock fan with Noctua NF-F12PWM. Perfect result! more air flow. Less noise and above all, much cooler system. Cpu is cooled by a single NF-F12PWM, Gpu is cooled by two NF-F12PWM in push-pull. never dreamed i could have a system with this little noise at these tempetures. I sincerely recomend this fan. money well spend.

Greater than one weekbought the thermaltake water 3.0 pro for an FX8350 build with Sabertooth 990FX R2. The stock fans from thermaltake are worthless. theyre as quiet as a boiler room but managed to keep the CPU temp at 35C at idle. replaced them with NoiseBlockers which could not keep the temp below 45C at idle and were not really silent. then I installed the these... the world is a better place now. The idle temp is 34C. I used Arctic Silver 5 with all the fans but will likely upgrade to the Gelid GC-Extreme.

> 3 dayAlthough the supplied Corsair fans worked fine on my Corsair Graphite 600T case, they were too loud even on idle. Read some online reviews of various replacements and the favorite seemed to be the Noctua NF-F12. They were not wrong, if you can handle the color, they are great fans. Since the case already had rubber washers installed for cushioning, it was easy to remove the cushions Noctua installs so they sit flatter and dont interfere with the intake grill. For some reason the Corsair fans used three pin connectors. The Noctua uses four pin which match up to the H100i liquid cooler fan leads. Dont know if it makes any difference on how the software reads fan speed, but they definitely run quieter, even at high rpms.

> 3 dayDrastically reduced noise and temperatures compared to stock fan on an aftermarket cpu cooler. I found out that these were pretty popular after installing mine but I can see what the hype is about.

> 3 dayOK, after a lot of reading I decided to fork out for these. I do not regret it- there is no price for silence. Now I can play games. The fans go full speed and the television remains at sane decibel levels as the wife is no longer raging and taking it out on the volume button. Bliss.
