So quiet compared to the stock case fan. Noctua or nothing now!

I purchased one of these because one of my cheap case fans was going out (getting noisy) So I looked around online for a quality replacement and came across the Noctua brand with very high reviews! Although these are over kill for my tower (as I still have cheap fans in there that make plenty of noise), This Noctua fan is super quite on full speed. I am Impressed with the quality and design of everything and will probably slowly replace more fans with Noctuas!

Probably the best fans out there. They are super quiet, and come with many cabling accessories. They are brown and expensive, but they go inside the case so dont worry about the color, and the price is worth it.

I wanted to replace my stock NZXT case fans and Corsair fans that I bought. My research ended up leading me to this Australian brand with the fugliest color scheme. But when you are in for serious performance, Noctua will definitely not disappoint.

I cant say enough great things about these Noctua fans. They are simply very high quality. They run surprisingly quiet and smooth, they are obviously designed with care and attention to detail, and the build quality is very high. I love the built-in rubber corners for reduced vibration. The package comes with multiple cable for the different speed selections. I went around my computer room and am looking at all the noisy fans I can replace with these superior Noctua fans. Fan noise is something people get used to and you dont know how noisy bad fans are until you shut the device off. Im very happy to pay the (slight) premium in price to get such high quality. I just wished everything I bought was of this caliber of craftsmanship.

Aside from the anatomical medical color, lack of LED bling, these Austrian designed and Taiwan built fans are wonderfully designed and very quiet. The S12A FLX model ships with two cable variants that step down the power to reduce the RPMs (and noise) from a stock 1200 to 900 and 700. I use mine with power throttles and even at their full 1200 speed they are quiet when compared to my previous brushless fans. The dark brown rubber anti-vibration pads are soft and removable. Instead of screws, these fans come with stubby metal screws and soft silicon anti-vibration pegs that can serve to mount these to the outer case. I have used pairs of these to replace the push-pull stock fans that came with the Corsair Hydro coolers on both of my home computers and am very happy with the reduced noise levels. These fans come with a six year warranty

Im using this fan in a pretty non-traditional manner as an exhaust fan for my composting toilet. The fan must run silently, 24/7, and be able to pull air through a 3x6 duct. This fan performs admirably. I hooked it up to a simple, two-prong DC Motor PWM Speed Controller and its perfect! I can adjust the speed easily and dont notice any off-effects. Its then wired directly to a 12v battery bank.
